  • An IV drip usually doesn’t hurt much but you may feel a quick pinch or sligt sting from the needle insertion.

    Once the IV is in place, the needle is removed and replaced with a cannula. During the treatment most clients feel little to no discomfort. Some people notice a mild cooling sensation in the arm as the fluids begin to flow, which is completely normal.

  • Here at Dripology our treatments deliver essential vitamins, minerals and nutrients directly into the bloodstream through an IV Drip, allowing the blood to absorb them efficiently.

  • Whether you are walking in or have already made an appointment we will carry out a short consultation to gain more of an understanding on your personal health, lifestyle and wellness goals. As part of this process, we use a diagnostic device to assess potential vitamin and nutrient imbalances in the body.

    This allows our team to recommend the most suitable IV drip tailored to your individual needs.

    Once the consultation is completed the IV infusion usually takes between 30 to 60 minutes to administer. During this time, clients can relax comfortably while the treatment is delivered and monitored by one of our medics.

  • While IV therapy is well tolerated by most people, it may not be recommended for anyone who are pregnant, have certain medical conditions or are taking specific medications that could interact with treatment.

    Your safety and wellbeing are always our priority. Treatments will only be administered if they are consideted safe and suitable following a professional assessment. We retain the right to decline or refuse treatment if after the consultation the IV therapy is considered unsuitable. The decision isn always made in the best interest of protecting the health, safety and wellbeing of our clients

  • IV therapy is generally well tolerated however, as any treatments involving a needles or intravenous fluids, some people may expreince mild side effects.

    Common side effects include:

    • Bruising

    • Redness

    • Some clients may feel temporaily light-headed

    • You might experience a cool sensation in the arm while the drip is being administered

    These effects are usually mild and resolove quickly.

  • The frequency of IV therapy will very depending on your individual health needs, lifestyle and the type of drip you recieve.

    We would reccomend once a month.

  • There isn’t anything specific you need to do before your drip, just go about your daily routine! You can eat and drink as normal prior to your appointment.
